The ISEKI-Food Association is an independent European non-profit organisation, established in 2005 by representatives of university institutions, research institutes, companies and associations related to food, coming from all over the world. To strengthen our team we are looking for:

EU Project Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing EU-funded projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities

  • Management of projects in the food and education/training sector
  • Assistance in writing (EU-funded) project proposals
  • Development and maintenance of web platforms in cooperation with a designer and programmer
  • Design and implementation of education and training systems
  • Organization of webinars and e-learning activities
  • Marketing, management and support of the activities of the Association (e.g. Food Careers platform, International Journal of Food Studies)

Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in food studies, economics or in a relevant science area
  • Experience in project management, IT and education/training
  • Excellent English skills in written and oral communication
  • Excellent German skills in written and oral communication*
  • Computer literacy (advanced use of MS Office programs)
  • Good internet connection
  • Main residence in Austria*
  • Willingness to travel from time to time to participate in project meetings

Further information

  • Contractual workload: between 20 and 40 h/week on a Home Office basis with flexible working time.
  • Salary: Min. salary 3073€ (MSc) or min. 3699€ (PhD) per month (on a fulltime basis = 40 h/week)
