Chemical, food, material and environmental engineers face many of the same challenges that other professionals face, and they meet these challenges by applying their technical knowledge, communication and teamwork skills, the most up-to-date practices available and hard work. The scientific congress is needed to encourage and motivate to the researchers, scientists and academia for new research by exchange their knowledge, ideas and creativity. International Congress on Engineering, Environment and Materials in Processing Industry is organized, for the 7th time, by the Faculty of Technology, University of East Sarajevo.

Congresses that were organized in previous years attracted a great deal of interest of the scientific and professional public, and thus motivated and obliged us to ensure that the future events are even better organized. Following the success of the first six conferences, the 7th International Congress will continue to bring together leaders from industry and academia to exchange and share their experiences, present research results, explore collaborations and to spark new ideas, with the aim of developing new projects and exploiting new technology for sustainable applications.

The purpose of the event is to discuss the current topical issues, in a comprehensive and multidisciplinary manner, concerning sustainable development and protection of the environment and their application in science, technology and processing industry.
