The Organizing Committee of CIBIA XIII, made up of researchers and professors from the University of Antioquia and the University of Quindío, wish to continue with the collaborative work that has allowed the positioning of the Ibero-American Congress of Food Engineering at an international level. From March 15 to 18, 2022, the XIII edition of the Ibero-American Congress of Food Engineering (CIBIA) will be held in Medellín, Colombia, with the theme Sustainable Processes and Food Safety. The host institution will be the University of Antioquia.

This event will bring together researchers, teachers, students, experts and innovators from the food industry, with the purpose of publicizing scientific advances, inspiring actions and promoting a transformation in the food sciences. The Congress will feature more than one hundred scientific sessions, commercial spaces and the participation of national and international speakers with recognized experience in the sector.
